NXT Move's role here is to find what God is already doing and accelerate it: gather these underground leaders, train them, connect them as a community, and send them back equipped. The MENA region is predominantly Muslim, with Christianity facing significant cultural or legal pressure across the region. In six North African nations — Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, Somalia, Sudan — visible Christianity barely registers. And yet leaders are already in the field, quietly planting house churches and making disciples at extraordinary personal risk. NXT Move's catalytic role is to find what God is already doing and accelerate it: gather underground leaders, train them, connect them as a community, and send them back equipped.
The Bishops of Cairo and Tunis provide safe operational infrastructure — a rare partnership giving NXT Move the credibility and cover to operate where few others can. Bi-annual cohort intensives bring 25–30 underground leaders together from six nations. A secure digital platform tracks fruit in real time. Across the broader MENA region, culturally contextualized resources are held in common by the community — not owned by a single entity. Leader names and photos are omitted for safety.
NXT Move champions these leaders by showing up pastorally — not just programmatically. Every leader at personal risk is sustained, not just trained and deployed. The funding reserved for the Middle East is held faithfully — waiting for the right moment, the right leader, and the right plan. These leaders are unnamed by necessity — and championed with full commitment.
